  • We are currently looking to recruit a National Sales Director (Social Care) to join our Commercial Team at Cygnet.

    The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of the social care market, and ideally some experience in managing a team in a sales or commercial setting.

    The location of this role is flexible.

    Roles and responsibilities include:

    • Responsibility for meeting occupancy and revenue targets in the Social Care division
    • Line manage the Social Care Business Relationship Managers (BRM)
    • Ensure each BRM has clear objectives and KPIs for the year
    • Work with each BRM to align where their time and effort is being spent
    • Ensure each BRM has a complete database of customers
    • Build actions plans with each BRM that focus on delivery of targets, by meeting customer needs
    • Coach each BRM on identified areas of development
    • Identify key customers to the Group to work with where support is needed; identify and build collaborative working relationships with these customers
    • Ensure clear measurement and tracking is in place throughout the year and that each BRM is clear on how they are performing vs target
    • Ensure knowledge of the wider social care sector, and providers within it, is maintained
    • Identify areas of future growth based on demand in each area, work with the commercial senior team, property, and finance in building a business case for new services
    • Be a member of the commercial senior executive team, where key commercial decisions are reached
    • Maintain positive working relationships between the commercial and operational teams, to help delivery of the key business objectives
