    Cygnet Birches:
    Birches is a 6 bed specialist residential service for adults with autism and who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

    The home is located near to the bustling town and city centres of Newark, Lincoln, Grantham and Nottingham, providing easy reach to local amenities, including parks, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on the specific needs of the individuals in our care.     In this role you will provide effective leadership to the service and will be a role model to your staff team. Your main focus would be to ensure the team provides safe, sound and supportive care to the people they support.

    Working with the multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities and regulatory bodies, you will have overall responsibility and accountability for the delivery of a high-quality service and promoting a positive culture.

    As an ambassador for your service, you will provide leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring each individual plays their part in promoting choice and independence for the people they support. Ultimately you will meet targets set out in our Quality Strategy, which will ensure your service is providing the best quality support and care possible.

    So what qualifications and attributes do you need?

    • We would welcome applicants who are proven leaders and have worked with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care
    • Diploma in Social Work or Level 5 in Health and Social Care
    • Previous management experience in a Residential setting is essential
    • Experience in working with individuals with Learning Disilitites
