  • We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Broughton House and Satellites,

    This role will be working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.

    Cygnet Broughton House:
    Broughton House is a 29 bed specialist residential service for adults with autism and who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care.

    Broughton House is divided into five distinct areas to support people within smaller environments. The main part of the building offers nine beds, with four beds in both the Coach House and The Flat. On site there are two separate properties, Sutton House and Sandbeck House, each with six beds.

    Your Day-to-Day…

    We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with;

    Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
    Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
    Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
    Administration, audit, research and service development
     

    We’re looking for someone who has…

    • A BPS accredited BSc (Hons) degree  in Psychology (2:1 or above)
    • Paid experience of working  in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
    • An enthusiasm for learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
    • A Master’s degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
