  • Cygnet Hospital Bury provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and CAMHS provision for adolescents. Security levels range between medium secure to rehabilitation services.

    You will...

    • Manage diary arrangements and prepare relevant papers for meetings.
    • Liaise with Hospital departments as directed, and respond to information requests as appropriate
    • Organise meetings as required, taking charge of all catering arrangements and overseeing the event
    • Receive telephone enquiries and ensure they are followed up as necessary, using initiative to handle and action calls or refer on to others as required
    • Acknowledge correspondence sent into the hospital, ensuring that matters are escalated where appropriate and follow up actions and timely responses are managed efficiently
    • Collating information into weekly and monthly reports
    • Updating systems where required
    • To organise and maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date and accurate filing system including archiving
    • Typing notes and minute taking when required
    • Draft and type letters, reports, data tables and any other material as requested using current word processing packages (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Collate, photocopy and distribute documentation as instructed
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, taking appropriate action as required
    • Provide cover for colleagues during sickness and annual leave and provide additional assistance to other departments as required
    • Processing and reconciliation of invoices and raising purchase orders
    • Liaise with Cygnet fleet to ensure all hospital vehicles continue to meet required standard, i.e MOT, servicing
    • Attend all statutory and mandatory training allocated
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
    • Complete any other reasonable request
