    Cygnet Chaseways:
    Chaseways is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with moderate / severe learning disability, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

    Chaseways is a six bed home consisting of three, two bed living units. Each unit has a kitchen, two lounges and an enclosed garden. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. There is also a sensory/games room located in the garden of one apartment.

    In this role:

    • Experience in being a team leader in a service that support people with Autism and learning disability. Management of challenging behaviour. A knowledge of BSL will be an added advantage but not essential .
    • Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the effective and efficient day to day leadership and management of the service
    •  Contribute to the achievement of the company aims, objectives and initiatives in a positive and cohesive manner, and as part of the management team.
    • Work together with the multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities and regulatory bodies.
    • Ensure, through direct observation and supervision of others, full compliance with relevant regulatory and professional standards
    • To deputise in the absence of the Manager

    • We would welcome applicants who are proven leaders and have worked with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care
    • NVQ Qualification in Social Care
    • Previous management experience is essential

    government bodies think is relevant. Disclosure Scotland continually monitor PVG scheme members' records for vetting information including criminal convictions that may affect their suitability to work with vulnerable groups.
