    We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist (Band 6/7) to join us!

    Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards. This role will be based on Sunrise ward which is a 12- bed Eating Disorder service, providing treatment, care and support for women with an eating disorder who are ready to engage in therapy.

    The Role:

    This role will encompass leadership for the OT team at Ealing Hospital, which has two wards comprising eating disorders and personality disorders.  The team consists of two OTs and two OTAs to cover both wards.  The role will also involve holding a clinical caseload on the Specialist Eating Disorder service. 

    The Successful Candidate:

    A Degree / Postgraduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy, registration with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and a member of the RCOT (Royal College of Occupational Therapy)
    Experience in the field of adult mental health and/or acute inpatient mental health is essential
    Currently operating as a Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist
    An understanding of Occupational Therapy process/interventions and can take a “hands on” approach
    The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
    Excellent communication / time management skills
