    In this role you will have a unique opportunity to support people to achieve their goals and move on along their care pathway to more independent living, while developing your own specialist skills alongside training courses tailored to your personal development.

    In this role your main focus would be to provide safe, sound and supportive care to the people you support. You will have working relationships with the nursing and multi-disciplinary teams, and will play an important role in the lives of the people you support, as well as their families or loved ones.

    The support and care you provide will be respectful, dignified and caring, following each individual's person-centred care plan to promote choice and independence. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the leadership of the service, ensuring each individual is working to support people in the best way.

    • Qualified Nurse (RNLD or RMN)

    All successful applicants will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) in respect of regulated work with protected adults and regulated work with children. A PVG certificate contains all unspent and certain spent conviction information. It also contains any other non-conviction information that the police or other

    government bodies think is relevant. Disclosure Scotland continually monitor PVG scheme members' records for vetting information including criminal convictions that may affect their suitability to work with vulnerable groups.

  • Located in Dunblane, Ranaich House is a care home with nursing offering care and support in a structured and therapeutic environment, caring for up to 14 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

    Ranaich House is a large period detached property, formerly a private Victorian villa with coach house, stables and mature woodland gardens. The service has good sized living areas, a dining room, as well as a well-stocked learning hub and life skills kitchen. Externally there is a spacious and private garden which hosts seating and picnic areas for relaxing or enjoying time with friends.

    Ranaich House has its own care pathway from living in the main house with more intensive support, to moving to the self -contained three bedroom flat, then finally on to the Coach House, a two bedroomed cottage flat in the grounds offering people the opportunity to experience more independence, whilst living in a safe environment.
