  • We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised and capable individual to act as a Maintenance Manager.

    Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all engineering and building maintenance services at Cygnet Alders Clinic in Gloucestershire GL1 5UA and Cygnet Brunel in Bristol BS10 7DP.

     

    In this Maintenance Manager role you will:

    • Be responsible for the implementation of working practises to ensure safe/efficient operation and maintenance of the hospital and services by the use of professional engineers, technicians and trade staff.
    • Oversee the safe operation at all times of both critical and non-critical engineering building services.
    • Act as the main contact responsible for interaction with departments and carefully planning any shut downs or interruption in-service with user groups.
    • To ensure that security protection is properly operated and maintained.
    • Demonstrate the ability to make complex decisions as you will be required to evaluate options throughout the maintenance process.
    • To be responsible, in conjunction with the Regional Facilities Manager, for negotiating and agreeing contracts for maintenance supplies and contractors. To be responsible for the supervision of external contractors on site as necessary.
