    Cygnet Fountains is a 32 bed high dependency inpatient rehabilitation hospital for men. It has been designed to provide an environment which promotes recovery for men for whose life has been a challenge in the past.


    Vincent Court is a five bed community rehabilitation service for men who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway with the aim to help patients along the path towards independent living.


    This is a full-time position (10 programmed activities) to support the Consultant Psychiatrist and the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide clinical services to adults at Cygnet Fountains and Cygnet Vincent Court, Blackburn.


    The post holder will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the hospitals and ensuring their good quality in accordance to GMC and other relevant professional guidelines.  Moreover, the post holder will have responsibility for upholding the Company’s policies and procedures and protecting the Company’s interests as appropriate.


    Candidate Profile:


    • Full GMC Registration, Section 12 and AC Status
    • Preferably experience within General Adult Psychiatry as well
    • MRCPsych or equivalent
    • Ability to work alongside and lead a multidisciplinary team
    • In-depth knowledge of Mental Health Legislation
    • Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles
    • Proven record of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
    • Excellent communication skills
