    We are searching for an experienced Software Developer to join our team and work in close collaboration with data analysts and clinical staff. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of software development, including, generation, and visualisation. Additionally, you should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth in line with business and clinical needs. You will report to the Head of Applications Development.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design.
    • Acquire data from bespoke sources and maintain databases and data systems
    • Using technical expertise and experience, guide users and other stakeholders on the most effective way to solve business problems when developing bespoke software applications.
    • Collaborate with other team members to complete work items identified during a development phase (such as a Sprint).
    • Balance the need for adequate software testing and elegant design with the need to fulfil the delivery schedule set out by senior staff, customers and stakeholders.
    • Solve complex technical and business logic problems, providing for the most part, elegant solutions that make use of suitable software patterns.

    You will have:

    • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with the .Net framework, C#, databases (SQL etc), XML, Javascript
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Experience of successfully managing a number of equally important tasks successfully
    • Excellent communication skills in order to interpret clinical requirements
    • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

    All applicants will be required to do a 2 part interview process; part one is the technical test on receipt of application as a standard and then depending on outcome of that, it that will go into 2nd phase of face to face interviewing.
