  • We are looking for a passionate, focused and experienced Hospital Manager to join us at our Specialist Autism Service, based in East Brigford, Nottingham.

    Cedar Vale provides specialist provides assessment and intervention for men living with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.

    The Opportunity...

    • Reporting directly to the Operations Director, our Hospital Managers are responsible for providing strong and effective leadership to the onsite team in order to ensure the integrity of all functions within the hospital, to include; Clinical, Finance, HR, Recruitment and Support Services. You will be responsible for the overall day to day running and strategic direction of the hospital.

    • To be compliant with CQC / regulatory requirements and to ensure all clinical, budgetary, regulatory and service development targets are met. You will also implement risk assessment, risk management and embed clinical governance within the hospital.

    • To be responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of client care and employee engagement.

    • In this role, you will also lead on appropriate investigations (as required), participate in audit requirements and ensure all group policies and procedures are adhered to. Reviewing and developing potential opportunities for improved quality and commercial growth is also a key requirement.

    Are you the successful candidate we are looking for?

    • Managerial experience of leading a team within a learning disabilities, mental health or older adult setting 

    • A nurse qualification with valid pin – Mental Health / Learning Disability / General (RMN / RNLD / RGN)

    • The ability to work as part of a team; lead by example, manage performance effectively and use own initiative

    • Experience of working to CQC guidelines, relevant legislation and professional regulations

    • Experience undertaking investigations and/or the ability to manage complaints appropriately and in a confidential manner

    • Desirable: Qualifications in Leadership & Management / Health & Social Care

  • Situated in East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, Cygnet Cedar Vale is a specialist autism hospital, providing assessment and intervention for up to 14 men living with autism and learning disabilities, as well as associated complex needs or difficulties with social engagement. Cygnet Cedar Vale is an impressive period property, situated on the edge of a picturesque village in its own extensive grounds.

    The service consists of three distinct areas to support individuals with different levels of need. Each of these areas are aimed at providing the individuals with an environment that will support them for moving on to more independent living. Within the service there are a number of communal lounges and dining areas that provide a choice of dining experiences, as well as more opportunities for service users to socialise or have quiet time away from others. Other facilities include a recently expanded and upgraded sensory room, a large garden and skills rooms.
