  • We are looking for a professional, ambitious & confident Mental Health Nurse / RMN to join our dedicated team as a based at our specialist inpatient rehabilitation service in Mansfield, Nottingham.

    Your Day-to-Day:

    Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations. Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality. Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals. Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.

    You are:

    Open, compassionate, honest & resilient mental health nurse / RMN that is able capable of maintaining documentation and undertaking audits. Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices. Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk. Able to help empower & support service user independence.

    Our 30 bed specialist high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men dedicated to providing a high quality environment for promoting long-term recovery.

    We believe that our programme of individual care and attention for our service users will contribute to their well-being and comfort, so that they will be able to go on to live in the wider community with appropriate support, guidance and assistance.

    Dedicated clinical teams provide a multi-disciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training.

    Service users are encouraged to exercise their right to be involved in planning their care. They are also encouraged to get involved in the social activities of the hospital and to pursue their own interests where this is appropriate within the hospital environment.

    Sherwood House is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.
