    We are looking for professional, ambitious & confident Registered Mental Health Nurses / RMN and Registered Nurses Learning Disabilities / RNLD.

    Designed specifically to provide a clinically led evidence based neuropsychiatric pathway and registered as hospitals both Grange and Lodge support individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury to maximise their quality of life.

    Registered Mental Health Nurses / RMNs and Registered Nurses Learning Disabilities/ RNLDs with an interest in providing care and rehabilitation pathways for those with an Acquired Brain Injury within Neuropsychiatric/Neurobehavioural rehabilitation settings are encouraged to apply.

    Your Day-to-Day…

    • Be part of a resource intensive in-house Neuropsychiatry interdisciplinary team dedicated to the 16 patients across both services (Grange & Lodge). Our person centred approach puts the individual at the centre of their treatment and discharge planning. With a wide range of activities and facilities to promote independent function and positive behaviour goals - all focus is on discharge planning to support service users to return to community living.
    • Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations
    • Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
    • Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
    • Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
    • Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.

    You are…

    • Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
    • Newly Qualified or Experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse / RMN or Registered Nurses Learning Disabilities/ RNLD with a current Pin Number
    • Interested in Acquired Brain Injury/Neurodegenerative conditions and Neurorehabilitation
    • Capable of maintaining documentation and undertaking audits
    • Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
    • Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
    • Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
    • Helping to empower & support service user independence.

  • Location Information
  • Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge are 8 bedded services providing neuropsychiatric rehabilitation for men with acquired brain injuries and specialist care for those affected by a neurodegenerative condition.

    Based in a residential area of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge provides homely environments, supporting service users to maximise their independence and improve their quality of life. The services are community based, providing excellent access to local amenities, whilst also being within 10 miles of three National Parks, so offering easy access to open spaces. The community-facing element of the service is key in supporting and promoting positive risk taking.

    Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge are rated 'Good' by the CQC and meet the criteria to be members of the Independent Neurorehabilitation Providers Alliance.
