We are looking for a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse / RMN, with a passion for delivering the best quality of care, to join our high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness , located in Blackburn, Lancashire
This is a full time role, you will be working on 42 hours per week, at Cygnet Fountains
Cygnet Fountains is a CQC rated 'Outstanding' is a 32 bed high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men
Your Day-to-Day...
- Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual Patient programs of care. With a focus on risk assessment and risk management strategies, ensuring that the requirements of the Care Program Approach are met in a timely manner
- Report any ill health amongst Patients and make requests for RC/GP/Professional visits where necessary
- Support empowerment of Patients having regard for their dignity rights whilst maintaining professional responsibility for individuals in our care
- Ensure that individual care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with Patient, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines
- Administer prescribed medicines in accordance with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.

You will have…
Essential:- An experienced Registered Nurse Mental Health / RMN with a current Pin Number
- The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role
- A good understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices
- A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk
- Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
- Compassion, resilience and a dedication to empower and support service user independence.
Desirable:
- An interest in leadership, research and assessment
- Must be experienced in leading a team
