  • Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.

    We are now recruiting Support workers for Yawl Ward. 

    This ward will accommodate those unable to find a suitable community placement and/or those still requiring MHA whose ability to self-care may be possible but requires an extended slower stream rehabilitative approach (minimum 12-18 months) to maximise independent function under a less restrictive legal framework. This may include patients with substance and/or alcohol abuse histories and those more likely to require input to support independence. Patients will be independently mobile or have limited mobility deficits.

    *This is a full-time role and you will be working 42 hours per week

    • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
    • Behaviour analysis, formulation and support
    • Goal setting and person cantered care planning to support individuals to be discharged from hospital
    • Maintenance of Physical and Mental health

We have 32 beds across 4 wards and support individuals with a range of needs, including physical and mental health needs, managing complex behaviours and supporting individuals with all activities of daily living including personal care.
