  • We are looking for a motivated Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD) with a passion for delivering the best quality of care, to drive change, improve practice and be part of a hospital wide quality improvement project.

    Department: Phoenix Ward - 12 bedded Male Acute Unit. Our acute service works to assess and manage risk factors, allowing us as a hospital to work successfully and robustly with individuals posing a higher level of complexity and challenge and who present a risk to themselves and others.

    Salary: £42,000 per annum

    Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday; 9-5)

    An experienced RMN or RNLD with a current Pin Number, you’ll have…


    • Experience at Clinical Team Leader level or above 
    • Experience in Acute/PICU services
    • The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
    • Experience supervising junior staff
    • A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
    • A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage & reduce risk
    • Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence


    • Nurses with interests in leadership, research & risk assessment.
    • Able to deputise in the absence of the Clinical Manager
