    The Support Administrator will undertake the general duties of a Receptionist to include the main point of contact for answering the telephone and receiving/greeting of visitors, as well as any other relevant administration tasks identified by the management.

    You will also assist the management team with the administration of any recruitment/HR functions as needed.

    In this role you will :

    To oversee all aspects regarding The Mental Health Act 1983 of all clients within the hospital
    Liaising with Psychiatrists and organising timely renewals of sections in accordance with MHA 1983 and guidance notes from the Code of Practice and the Institute of Mental Health Act Practioners
    Organise regular care program approach meetings for patients with their Multi-Disciplinary Team including the social worker.  Ensure all reports are available
    Co-ordinating solicitors for all patients to ensure they have legal representation for Manager’s Panels and tribunals
    Responsible for maintaining accurate records for all detained clients to a high standard
    Managing patients section papers whilst conforming to the legal aspects of the MHA 1983
    Ensuring all relevant documentation is provided to all relevant agencies i.e. Mental Health Commission, Mental Health Review Tribunal, Solicitors, Social Workers and Psychiatrist
    Organising and attending Managers Panels and Mental Health Review Tribunals.  Ensure all reports and relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with legal requirements.  Including audio typing of reports

    We are looking for people who have:

    Excellent Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 (MHA 1983)
    Knowledge of Windows – Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
    Willingness to undertake IMHAP training and other training courses related to the Mental Health Act in order to maintain knowledge
    Good interpersonal skills
    Understanding of payroll
    Good communication skills and confident manner
    1-3 years or more Administration experience or evidence of the same
    Ability to organise own time and workload

    government bodies think is relevant. Disclosure Scotland continually monitor PVG scheme members' records for vetting information including criminal convictions that may affect their suitability to work with vulnerable groups.
