    We are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Senior Mental Health Support Worker to work on MIPD with at least 12 months experience working in a forensic setting with challenging behaviour. Someone who is flexible and reliable , creative and dynamic and has emotional resilience to deal with complex situations.

    Role Summary: To be a positive role model within the Multi-disciplinary Team to patients and supporting staff in delivering high standards of patient care, to provide a safe environment in which the patients’ individual needs are met. The post holder will provide leadership and guidance to the team and manage the activities of the ward with support and direction from the Team Leader and Senior Nurse.

     

    Your day-to-day…

    • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
    • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
    • Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
    • Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely 
    • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
    • Assist with medical & welfare needs
    • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
    • Safeguard
    • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
